Week 6 is here, and the fantasy season is officially getting hotter than ever. By now, most breakout players are already sustainable starts, rookies are either proven or will be non-factors, and which early-season duds might just be dead weight on your roster? But every new week brings its own challenges—trades and injuries causing changes to depth charts, and surprising performances reshaping the waiver wire. That’s where we come in.


In this article, we’ll break down every matchup on the Week 6 slate with game-by-game analysis, highlighting the players you should be starting with confidence and the ones best left on the bench. Quick Take:


  • This game might actually be more interesting than we think, just given the fact that it is played in London. Obviously, the Jets have been underwhelming to say the least so far this season, but the Broncos tend to play opponents close, especially when playing down to their competition. Given that this game isin London and anything can happen, we see the Broncos pulling this one off, but not in blow-out fashion.

  • This matchup should end in another Ravens loss due to QB Lamar Jackson being ruled out once again. The Ravens' backup QB Cooper Rush will have to really step it up if the Ravens want a shot at winning this one, as we know the Rams will be coming with a vengeance after losing at home last week.

  • This matchup could be interesting depending on whether Dillon Gabriel can repeat his performance from last week and be a solid QB for this young Browns squad, AND if star edge-rusher Myles Garrett plays. Despite this, the Steelers should take a win in this one at hom,e and any spread of -5.5 or less should be a lock in our eyes.

  • This matchup could become a very high-scoring game, very, very fast. Herbert and the Chargers are coming off back-to-back losses and will be looking to get back on track any way possible at The Hard Rock. The Dolphins, on the other hand, seem like there is very little hope. Because of this, we think the Chargers should take care of business in a high-scoring affair.

Quick Take:


  • This game might be the most interesting out of all the 1:00 PM ET games. The Jags are coming off a major upset win against the Chiefs, and the Seahawks are coming off a devastating loss to Tampa. The Seahawks need this win badly to get back in the playoff race in the NFC West, and the Jaguars could move to 5-1 with a win this weekend.

      • Unfortunately, Kupp has not been the same. This week looks like it will not be any different, as the Jaguars' secondary has been elite so far this season.

      • A bad matchup for Lawrence this week might not lead to efficient fantasy production

    • WR Travis Hunter -- Mid-End WR3

      • Unfortunately, the coming-out party for Hunter does not seem to be happening anytime soon. This matchup will be a tough one if Witherspoon and Woolen play, and fantasy owners of Hunter should play it safe and leave him on the bench unless there are no other options

  • This game could go one of two ways in our eyes. Either the Colts repeat and take another blowout win at home, or the Cardinals learn from their embarrassing loss to the Titans last week and bounce back with a surprising upset, or at least keep this one close.
